Mission Statement:

The Friends of the Book-Cadillac Hotel work to see the building preserved, renovated and reused. The FoBC recognizes that a better understanding of history can be gained by reusing the structures of Detroit's glorious past.

Our Efforts:

To acheive our mission we aim to work with the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and the Downtown Development Authority in finding and establishing good working relations with developers. Through cooperation between the DEGC, the DDA, and prospective developers the Book-Cadillac can represent a wonderful opportunity for Detroit.

We also aim to publicize the history and significance of the Book-Cadillac Hotel, the tools and benifits for renovation, and their economic impact.
